Trades — birds wanted

An auction only helps you when somebody happens to enter the bird you need. Here it works the other way round: say what you are looking for, and any member who has it answers with a full lot sheet and a price. You accept it, decline it, or answer it once with a final offer of your own.

Nobody is named on this board, and an offer is seen only by the member it was made to. When a price is agreed it is recorded as a sale exactly as an auction sale is: the two of you are put in touch, the birds are rated afterwards, and Aviara's 5% administration fee is payable by the seller.
